David “Tug” Chamberlin (Instructor)

The Class

Located in the heart of one of southern West Virginia’s tourism hot spots, Fayette Institute of Technology’s Tourism Industries class is in the ideal location for students to gain real-world experience.

David Chamberlin’s class is open to juniors and seniors attending Oak Hill, Midland Trail, and Meadow Bridge High Schools. It is a two year program that sets students up for career success in Fayette County’s New River Gorge and beyond.

Student Opportunities

Working with various groups and organizations provides students a network of business and industry leaders within the local community.

Many students have gone from this program to working within the tourism field, attending college, or even becoming a small business owner.
