Class Atmosphere
Our class is a very open space. Students are encouraged to work collaboratively to achieve success.
Instruction is provided at the beginning of each section, an overview per se. Then students are allowed to work through each section in class so they do not have much homework from our program.
Additionally, if students are working on, let’s say their workbook in class, Mr. Chamberlin can answer questions and be of assistance more readily than if they were working on it at home.
Why a Pineapple?
“Due to its seemingly exotic qualities and rareness, the pineapple soon became a symbol of hospitality in early America. Because trade routes between America and Caribbean Islands were often slow and perilous, it was considered a significant achievement for a host to procure a ripe pineapple for guests.” (Indiana University of Pennsylvania)
“The pineapple immediately commands attention. While it once represented unreachable wealth, the fruit now represents warm welcomes, celebration, and hospitality.” (SeaTrus)
